Sports assessment with dynamometry: sports assessment with dynamometry in Terrassa

What it involves

Sports physiotherapy in Terrassa: each plan is tailored to your injury and your situation. First we assess, then we choose the technique.

  • Pulling and pressure dynamometry
  • Side-to-side comparison to detect asymmetries
  • Objective monitoring of progress during treatment
  • Data-based criteria for returning to training and competition

In plain words

A sports assessment is a longer visit in which I look at how you move, how strong you are, where you are limited and, if needed, what shows on ultrasound. It helps understand an injury, prevent one, or know whether you are ready to compete again. You leave with a clear report and a plan.

Frequently asked questions

Who can have one?

Athletes of any level: from weekend runners to competitors. Also people returning to sport after an injury or a break.

What does it include?

Clinical history, movement and strength testing, functional tests specific to your sport and, when it makes sense, an ultrasound of the tendon, muscle or ligament that worries you.

Will you tell me if I can compete again?

I give you my assessment based on the tests, the stage of the injury and the demands of your sport, and we set clear criteria to progress. When needed, I coordinate with your doctor.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

Usually around an hour. The standard visit costs €60; see the prices page.
