How I choose the right technique
Not every pain is treated the same way. I always start with your history and a physical examination, and when needed I add an ultrasound to see the real state of tendons, muscles, ligaments and nerves. With that information we decide which technique makes the most sense for your case and in what order.
What to expect at the first visit
- Questions about the pain, how it started and what activity you do.
- Assessment of movement, strength and painful points.
- Ultrasound assessment when it is needed.
- A clear plan: which treatment, roughly how many sessions and what you can do at home.
Who these techniques are for
People with musculoskeletal pain that does not improve, sports injuries, tendinopathies, overload, neck and back pain, and athletes who want to return to competition. I see patients in Terrassa, inside the Mútua, in the COTCAT unit.
